The Lakeshore Chinooks
The Lakeshore Chinooks were formed in 2012 and participate in the prestigious Northwoods Collegiate Summer Baseball League. With 22 teams, the NWL draws more fans than any league of its kind. More than 270 NWL Alumni have advanced to Major League Baseball, including 13 from the Chinooks.
The Chinooks draw elite-level players from all over the country who play a 72 game season between late May and early August. In 2014, the Chinooks won their first NWL championship. The team plays their home games at beautiful Moonlight Graham Field at Kapco Park, located on the campus of Concordia University-Wisconsin. Since inception, the team has drawn over 400,000 fans to the stadium to watch the highest caliber of collegiate talent.
